Majahuitas

A small exclusive corner, almost virgin, of fine white sand and crystalline waters at the foot of an exuberant jungle.

Majahuitas, is one of the most beautiful beaches in Cabo Corrientes. Its name derives from “Majahua” a kind of local tree, unmistakable for its large leaves and that grows on the seashore. It gives the area a spectacular contrast of colors accompanied by the sounds of wildlife that invite you to forget about the bustle of the city.

The beauty of this coastal sanctuary is complemented by several coves and an impressive underwater canyon, which includes different caves and reefs inhabited by fish of a thousand colors and several so-called eel gardens. It is the best place to practice snorkeling among colorful fish such as King Angel, Panamic Sergeant Major, Puffer Fish, Eels and many others.

The warm water and low waves allow swimming in it as if it were a giant pool and is bordered by hills, this small bay gives a feeling of total privacy. You can enjoy various water activities or simply walk along the beach and watch the singing of birds and curious reptiles.
