Our actually day out was an amazing experience, from the moment we got onto the dock to the moment we got back into our taxi to go back home. José Luis, Carlos and Luis were all awesome. Our sailboat was clean and in great condition. They provided us with drinks, beers, delicious guacamole and chips. The crew that was with us (Carlos and Luis) was very knowledgeable, professional and very polite. They even provided is with awesome tips to enjoy the rest of our stay in Puerto Vallarta. We had so much fun and would be happy to book through them again. Actually planning a trip back in December and will most definitely be contacting Alonso and Vallarta Yachts again.

The reasons for not a 5-star rating were two things: the crew and skipper were pleasant but not welcoming & the food was just acceptable. I am sure the crew and skipper are tired at this point in the high season, but they appeared bored (no smiles but did their jobs). Their performance was acceptable but not high-end. The food was okay (chicken fajitas & guacamole). The app came after the entree which seemed odd (the food timing was off).

Overall, a very good experience for a day charter. As comparison, I've done three other charters with other companies and they were all 5-star so this may just be crew fatigue at this point in the tourist season.
